History…

Piccolo Sant’Andrea is a Luxury Suite Hotel & Spa opened by four brothers, Igea, Bruno, Elvio and Francesco, following the wish of their father, Odino Sartori, who wanted to open this dwelling suspended between the sky and the sea.

The hotel is named after Saint Andrew, patron saint of Amalfi, to whom the fishermen of the “divine coast” have always offered their devotion.

Odino Sartori was a Venetian entrepreneur who was dazzled on his very first visit to the Amalfi coast. Being a man of action, he soon acquired Pietra Piana, as was called by the locals the place where the Piccolo Sant’Andrea Luxury Suite Hotel & spa was then to be developed.

Enamoured by nature in general and by the Amalfi coast in particular, he made sure the structure was built in harmony with the cliffs and the sinuous features of the Coast.

He ended up so pleased with the project he had created for others that he turned it into his “buen retiro” to enjoy the endless sea and the scent of the orange blossoms. He built his dwelling on the tip of the cliffs, where a wrought iron butterfly supports the glass parapet to enjoy the endless sea. The butterfly was then used by the brothers as the hotel logo.

The Piccolo Sant’Andrea offers guests 27 well refined design rooms and suites, all characterized by modern design with influences from Venetian art and with a breath-taking view of the sea.

GARDEN DESIGN– size from 280 to 355 sq. ft.

Let yourself be pampered by the refinement of simplicity, allow yourself to relax in a garden among the rocks of about 215 sq.ft., open air shower where you can live on your skin the contrasts of the Coast. Cosy rooms with queen or king bed and a private terrace furnished with sun beds.

SEASCAPE DESIGN – size from 344 to 409 sq. ft.

Rooms with spacious equipped terraces or private gardens with partial sea views, where nature welcomes you with its magic, featuring a king size four poster bed. Private bathroom with Jacuzzi. Openair shower where you can live on your skin the contrasts of the Coast. 

PANORAMA DESIGN – size from 355 to 420 sq. ft.

Rooms with infinite sea view on the Coast and private balcony with sea view, king or queen bed, private bathroom with Jacuzzi or shower.

JUNIOR SUITE– size 409 sq.ft.

The stunning view from the panoramic terrace towards the Amalfi Coast inspires real and vivid emotions. Open space rooms featuring a king size bed and a sitting area with sofa, furnished with exclusive design elements, perfect for people looking for a luxury experience. Ensuite bathroom with Jacuzzi and a panoramic equipped terrace or private garden with sea view and open-air shower.

ODI SUITE - size 560 sq. ft.

Spacious Suite composed of a separated living room and a king size bedroom with a large window that leads to a 785 sq.ft. exclusive private terrace and garden with outdoor shower, canopy bed, sitting and dining area overlooking Positano. The large bathroom boasts a round shapes masonry Jacuzzi with chromotherapy, decorated with precious blue mosaic and overhead SPA shower.

IGEA SUITE - size 484 sq. ft.

 A magnificent suite with a strong and strong-willed character, featuring a large and bright open space kind size bedroom decorated in red, coral, orange and violet cardinal and  a sitting area which leads to a large panoramic terrace of 665 sq.ft. overlooking Positano and the sea, sundeck and outdoor Jacuzzi.  Ensuite bathroom with a SPA shower with Turkish bath. A real oasis of well-being, designed to welcome in a magical and suggestive way guests who want to live an exclusive holiday of wellness.

How to reach us:                  

For those who would rather reach our hotel by car, driving along the sinuous SS 163 Costiera Amalfitana, simply use our address: Via Campo, 15 – Praiano. Your GPS will lead you to the discovery of the views offered by one of the world’s most beautiful roads.

The hotel is located 3.5 km away from the centre of Positano, on the Amalfi Road 163, towards Amalfi. Guests have available a car park with surveillance, free of cost. A shuttle van is responsible for the service to and from Positano and Praiano all day long, free of cost.

From Naples and from the north: A3 Motorway Napoli-Pompei-Salerno, exit Castellammare di Stabia, Strada Statale (highway) 145 towards Sorrento, and then follow the directions to Positano (Strada Statale 163). After the town, follow for 3.5 km towards Amalfi.
